St. Martins Second Annual Ghoultide Gala Packs the House, October, 2013

By popular demand, the Second Annual Ghoultide Gala was held at St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Austin, Texas on Sunday, October 13, 2013. This second year, the program was moved into the nave, taking advantage of the two pipe organs and the many lighting and sound options in the large, reverberant space. 'Twas All Hallows Eve, a narrative poem by Judy Beglau and Thomas Pavlechko set the stage for actors, choreographed dancers and the singing of the Ghoultide Scarols. A gala reception followed in the church's haunted gymnasium with Ghoultide Gourmet (food), Ghoultide Spirits (drinks), Your Just Desserts for Your Sweet-Fang, and Ghoultide Go-Go (dancing). Donations benefited the new Austin City Lutherans Food Pantry.
